‘Let’s have fun!’ That’s how I start out every photo session, because that’s how I live my life.

I’m Tarra and I was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Post high school graduation I attended Northeast Wisconsin Technical College studying Paralegal, Business Management and Photography. After years of traveling around Wisconsin, I planted my roots back in Green Bay and continued on with my passion for taking photos. In 2019 I made the leap into becoming my own brand and creating Mellie Mae Photography.

I thoroughly enjoy being around people and animals. I’m an equine enthusiast and have owned many horses throughout my life. I come from a small family, however, my husband and I have grown it by four children. If I’m not home with my family, I’m either in a barn or hiking around Wisconsin with my camera.
